And so it went… Tribeca 2025 is off to the races!Last night we kicked off the 2025 Tribeca Festival with the World Premiere of Billy Joel: And So It Goes, presented in partnership with OKX and CNB, at the Beacon Theatre. Everyone came out to celebrate.
It’s not just Billy Joel — movies about music will be scoring much of the Festival. Yesterday Billboard dropped a sneak preview of what’s to come at Tribeca, from a conversation about music with Mark Ronson and Wyclef Jean to an intimate performance from Becky G. See more pics and videos from yesterday here. And if you missed out on the fun, don’t fear! Billy Joel: And So It Goes will be screening throughout the Festival. Grab a ticket here.
Our first full day of programming is more packed than the Beacon Theatre last night. Screenings start at 2:30 PM with the World Premiere of Turnstile's visual album Never Enough and run until 9:30 PM, where the New York Premiere of animated action-adventure film Predator: Killer of Killers will close out the night. Interested in talks and networking? Our inaugural Storytelling Summit begins today! Running June 5-15, this festival within the Festival gives independent creators the access and tools they need to propel their careers forward. This afternoon: conversations with Leslye Headland (Star Wars: The Acolyte, Russian Doll) and Nia DaCosta (The Marvels, Candyman, Little Woods).
